The tour begins with some small-town holiday cheer with a stop in Ithaca, NY where you will have time to grab some lunch at one of the unique dining options and do some holiday shopping at a variety of unique shops. Then we are off to experience the magic of Christmas at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, NY. You will have time to settle in and to begin Immersing yourself in a winter wonderland filled with festive decorations, twinkling lights, and holiday cheer. Indulge in gourmet dining, luxurious accommodations, and exciting casino entertainment. This evening, the group will travel nearby to visit Lights on the Lake. Lights on the Lake is a two mile long drive-thru show featuring towering holiday displays, larger-than life Land of Oz, a twinkling fantasy forest, colorful section arches, memorable animated scenes and a fairy tale magic grand finale!

 

Today you will have some time to enjoy the Turning Stone amenities as you please. Be sure not to miss the Gingerbread Village. Turning Stone’s annual Gingerbread Village is nationally recognized every year by leading publications, including the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide, as one of the best gingerbread villages in the country. Measuring more than 75 feet in length, the Candy Land themed village features nine colorful structures. The village also includes a train that travels from the train station throughout the village.

 

The tour will end with a wonderful holiday show, A Classic Christmas. The show combines the hottest hits from the 50’s

and 60’s along with the classic Christmas songs you’ve come to adore. Chris Ruggiero is a PBS-TV star sensation and performs alongside some of the biggest acts from the 50’s and 60’s. The show includes such hits as Sleigh Ride, Marshmallow World, This Christmas, Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, along with those oldies such as Unchained Melody, Betcha By Golly Wow, You Can’t Hurry Love, and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, to name a few.
