Enjoy a guided tour of the Mansion, highlighting Washington’s home and legacy, followed by free time to explore the impeccably restored grounds at your own pace, including the gardens, outbuildings, and scenic views of the Potomac River. In honor of America’s 250th, Mount Vernon will be featuring special commemorative exhibits highlighting the nation’s founding era and Washington’s enduring legacy.
Before departing Mount Vernon, passengers will relax and enjoy an included buffet dinner, the perfect way to unwind after an enriching visit.
On our return journey, we’ll stop in Washington, D.C. for a 90-minute step-on guided monument tour, showcasing the nation’s most iconic memorials as a fitting and patriotic finale to this meaningful day honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

Tour Information
Breakfast (on own) stop en route. Arrive at Mount Vernon at approximately 12:30 PM. Enjoy a guided tour of the mansion followed by time to explore the grounds, gardens and exhibits on your own. Lunch (on own) is availabe on site. A buffet dinner is included at Mount Vernon before departing. Onroute home, the group will stop in Washington DC for a 90 minute step on guided monument tour. A Rest stop en route home at driver discretion.
