Pack your curiosity—and your detective instincts—for a distinctive getaway to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

This multiday trip combines the grandeur of Biltmore Estate, scenic mountain views, regional arts and culture, a classic

train journey, and an entertaining murder mystery woven through the experience.

Discover Asheville and travel along the legendary Blue Ridge Parkway with a local guide, taking in mountain overlooks,

forests, and stories of the region. Explore the Southern Highland Craft Guild’s Folk Art Center, celebrating Appalachian

craft traditions, and visit Lexington Glassworks to learn about hand-blown glass artistry. There will also be time to enjoy

the local dining scene and the character of Western North Carolina.

At Biltmore Estate, step inside America’s largest privately owned home and explore its grand architecture, furnishings,

and gardens. But keep your wits about you: the “Murder at Biltmore” mystery adds intrigue, with interesting characters,

clues, and meals that are part of the unfolding story. The itinerary also includes a first-class ride aboard the Great Smoky

Mountains Railroad with a served meal, a visit to the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site based on availability, and

a performance at Flat Rock Playhouse.

As evening falls, experience Luminere at Biltmore, an exclusive, immersive outdoor presentation that brings the estate’s house and

gardens to life through lighting, projections, and music. With scenic landscapes, history, arts, theatre, and a playful

whodunit woven together, this is more than a mountain escape—it’s a chance to become part of the mystery. Pay

attention to the clues and see whether you can identify the culprit before the final reveal!
