Travel to the South for a memorable getaway filled with historic charm, beautiful gardens, coastal scenery, and the warm hospitality of Charleston and Savannah. Along the way, enjoy a visit to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley before continuing south for a taste of the region’s history and landscapes.

Discover Charleston on a guided tour through its historic district, with its colorful homes, picturesque streets, and stories of Southern life. Explore Middleton Place, known for its landscaped gardens and historic grounds, and visit Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens, including its iconic Avenue of Oaks. Enjoy time to browse Charleston City Market and nearby shops, take a narrated carriage ride through the historic district, and savor Lowcountry cuisine at local restaurants. An evening aboard the Spirit of Carolina dinner cruise adds waterfront views, dining, and entertainment to your Charleston experience.

Then make your way to Savannah, where historic squares, moss-draped oaks, charming boutiques, and the riverfront invite you to explore at your own pace. A hop-on, hop-off trolley tour offers an easy way to see the city’s landmarks, while the American Prohibition Museum and Savannah Pirates & Treasures Museum add a glimpse into fascinating chapters of American history. One special evening outing (pending availability) to be announced. With guided sightseeing, time to explore independently, regional dining, and a variety of distinctive attractions, this trip offers a rich introduction to the character and traditions of the Lowcountry.
