Thursday, September 2, 2027 Fairbanks - Denali National Park Step aboard the popular Sternwheeler Discovery, an unforgettable journey showcasing Alaska’s diverse culture and rich history. Make stops along the way to meet the people and get a taste of local life. Take a scenic motor coach ride to Denali National Park. Tonight, enjoy a musical performance that tells the story of the first brave men to summit Denali, followed by dinner.

Friday, September 3, 2027 Denali National Park This morning, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour, which affords the best opportunities to view the region’s wildlife. Learn about the history of the park and see why Denali is one of the top three reasons that people visit Alaska. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Saturday, September 4, 2027 Denali National Park - Talkeetna Your day begins with a scenic train ride to Talkeetna. Savor every moment inside your luxury domed railcar. View the incredible landscape from glass-ceiling railcars and open-air observation platforms as rail guides provide expert commentary. Check into the iconic Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, perched on a ridge offering unforgettable views of Denali.

Sunday, September 5, 2027 Talkeetna - Anchorage - Whittier - Board Cruise Ship Depart for your ship, stopping en route in Anchorage, Alaska’s largest city. Continue with a scenic drive along the Chugach Mountains. Drive along the Turnagain Arm to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Discover where orphaned or injured bears, wolves, porcupines, and moose are cared for in a 200-acre rehabilitation site. Arrive in the port of Whittier where you’ll embark on your 7-night Holland America cruise aboard a fabulous floating resort designed to make your stay on board truly memorable. Sunday, September 12, 2027 Vancouver, B.C. - Disembark Cruise Your cruise ends this morning in the vibrant Canadian city of Vancouver. Ascend Grouse Mountain on an enclosed gondola and take in panoramic views while you enjoy lunch on the peak of Vancouver. Join a private ranger -led tour to meet two grizzly bears that were rescued in 2001. Later, stop at beautiful Stanley Park, Canada’s renowned urban rainforest. Follow the park’s famous seawall and encounter mountain views along trails, beaches, historical landmarks, and colorful gardens.

  • Some attractions may not be available during the off-season months. This is reflected in the price of your tour.

  • Order of ports may be changed by the cruise line.

  • Personal audio devices (headsets) are not included on this tour.

  • Please note that your hotel in Vancouver is close to the airport, allowing for a convenient and comfortable departure.

  • The following categories will be utilized when confirming cabin assignments: Inside Category: L; Ocean View Category: F; Veranda Category: VD.

  • Single accommodations are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Single rate subject to change based on availability.

  • Cruise ships have a limited quantity of cabins available in each cabin category. We will make every effort to accommodate your cabin category preference at the time of booking. If the cabin category preferred is not available at the time of booking, the next closest category available will be offered and a surcharge may apply.

  • Triple accommodations are limited and will be confirmed upon request and availability from the cruise line.

  • To complete your tour, we include round-trip airport-to-hotel transfers when purchasing our airfare with your tour. If you have arranged for your own air, we are pleased to provide you the option of purchasing these transfers. Please note that all transfers will leave at pre-scheduled times.

  • Most flights arrive into Fairbanks very late at night followed by an early morning the next day.

  • For air-inclusive reservations, the name provided at time of booking must match your government-issued ID that will be used during travel. Name changes are subject to penalties.

  • Please be advised, many airlines do not provide advance seat assignments until check-in at the airport. Advance seating will be subject to the airline's terms and conditions.

  • Prior to full payment for the program, the cruise line reserves the right to impose a supplemental fuel charge. Should this occur, you will be notified of the additional charges.

  • Taxes and fees starting from $715 USD per person (subject to change without advance notice), quoted at time of booking, are payable at time of final payment. Single cabins, if confirmed, are higher.

  • Prepaid tipping is not available on our tours therefore payment of customary end-of-trip gratuities for your Tour Manager, driver, local guides, hotel housekeepers, and cruise ship waitstaff should be handled individually when applicable during the course of your tour.

  • Onboard gratuities are not included in the price of your tour. For your convenience, Holland America Cruise Lines automatically applies a $17.00 USD (quoted at time of printing) per traveler per day service charge to your shipboard account. If you upgrade to a suite, the gratuities increase to $18.50 USD per traveler per day. This service charge covers all onboard service personnel, so no additional tipping is necessary. Please be aware that the service charge can be adjusted at guest services onboard the ship if you feel the service did not meet your expectations. Separately, an 18% gratuity is added for bar drinks and spa services. You are required to settle your shipboard account before disembarkation.

  • Economy air rate and schedule are applicable for groups of 10 or more traveling on the same flights and dates.

A Real ID compliant form of identification must be presented both at the time of booking air travel with Collette and upon checking in at the airport to board any flight. State-issued driver’s licenses and IDs that are not REAL ID compliant are no longer accepted as valid forms of identification at airports. Any fees associated with changing a reservation resulting from a non-compliant identification will be the responsibility of the traveler. Passports are required for this tour at your expense. Certain countries require that your passport be valid at least 6 months beyond the dates of your travel. IMPORTANT: We recommend that travelers take a photocopy of their passport and applicable visas. It should be packed separately from your actual passport and visa. We also recommend leaving a copy at home with your emergency contact.
